Title: The Creed Part I – I Believe in God

This Complete Lesson Plan introduces students to the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the Four Pillars of Faith, then begins an in-depth study of the Apostles’ Creed.  This lesson focuses on the belief statements in the Creed which deal with God. Students will learn

• the definition of terms Theological Truth, Monotheism, and Trinity
• what we mean when we say that God is Father
• what we mean when we say that God is Almighty
• what we mean when we say that God is Creator
• what Free Will is and why God gives us the ability to say “No” to Him
